Description
The federal government has decided to issue a 5 euro collector coin with the theme "moderate zone" in 2019.
The coin consists of three elements: an outer ring, an inner core and a green polymer crown.
The temperate zone is like no other influenced by the development of the cultural landscape, which the design has visualized by the stylized farmland and forest hem indicated. The central hare is a typical representative of the open landscapes of the temperate zone. The change of season associated with this zone is expressed by the autumnal oak branch. The silhouette describes the deciduous forest specific to the landscape and zone. The interaction of positive and negative pictorial elements generates a high degree of spatiality. The picture elements create an exceptionally good overall composition.
