Coincard 5 Euro Belgique 2021 in relief on the theme of Belgian team athletes
Since the 2008 Summer Olympics, the Royal Mint of Belgium has had a tradition of supporting the Belgian team athletes with a magnificent commemorative coin! This year, it's no exception.
Never before have the Olympic Games been postponed to take place exactly one year later, as was the case last year for the Tokyo Games. Consequently, the official issue of the Royal Mint of Belgium has been postponed by one year.
This is also the first time that a 5 euro coin in honor of the Olympic Games has been available in two finishes: classic relief and color. The coin is packaged in an attractive coincard with a subtle reference to Tokyo. The maximum print run is limited to 12,500 copies, half of which are in color.
Print run 6,250 pieces
