This annual collection from the Netherlands for 2024 includes all eight euro coins, minted in BU (Universal Brilliant) quality.
Since 2014, Dutch coins have featured a new design, marking a historic turning point. The portrait of Queen Beatrix, present since 1999, has been replaced by that of King Willem-Alexander. The national side of the coins features a faceted portrait of the King, inspired by the fragmented landscape of the Netherlands. This contemporary design reflects the diversity of the Dutch population and symbolizes the entry into a new era for the modern monarchy.
Dutch coins feature two distinct styles on their national side, with the name of the country included in the inscription "Koning der Nederlanden" (King of the Netherlands), accompanied by the year of issue and the twelve stars of the European Union.
