Theme : 25th anniversary of the founding of the Slovak Republic
Design description: The design symbolizes Slovakia's entry into the European Union and the euro zone with a stylized portal spanning a map of Slovakia and a euro symbol surrounded by the stars of the European Union, some of which are covered by the map. Slovakia's coat of arms appears on the left-hand side of the design. The name of the issuing country, "SLOVENSKÁ REPUBLIKA", appears in a semicircle at bottom left. The date of the country's creation, "1.1.1993", and the year of issue of the coin, "2018", appear one above the other below the right-hand side of the card. Between the card and the date is the mint mark of the Kremnica Mint (Mincovňa Kremnica), namely the initials "MK" between two punches, and the stylized letters "PK", initials of Pavel Károly, the designer.
