2 Euro Monaco 2025 - Fief of Carladès The €2 commemorative coin Monaco 2025 rend hommage au Comté of Carladès, a territoire historical situé in the Cantal, autrefois rattaché à the province of Auvergne. This fief is étroitement lié à the history of the Principauté of Monaco since 1643, date à laquelle the roi Louis XIII the a offert à Honoré II, first prince souverain of Monaco, en reconnaissance of its fidélité à the couronne of France. This coin symbolises this lien ancien between Monaco and the Carladès, toujours reconnu in the titres nobiliaires monégasques.
