The Belle Épreuve Special Clubs 2024 boxed set is an exceptional set for collectors with a passion for numismatics. It contains the last two commemorative Finnish 2 euro coins of 2024 in Belle Épreuve quality, which are also the last to have been minted by the Mint of Finland before privatization. Presented in an elegant case and accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity, these rare coins celebrate unique themes: the first, issued in March 2024, highlights elections as the foundation of democracy, while the second, available in August 2024, pays tribute to Finnish architecture with references to the famous Gesellius, Lindgren and Saarinen.

An official press release from the Mint of Finland states that it has won the Ministry of Finance's public tender for the production of Finnish circulation euro coins, including 2 euro commemorative coins.
The contract runs from June 1, 2019 to December 31, 2022, and includes a two-year extension option. This agreement does not include the marketing of coin series and commemorative 2 euro coins.
The Ministry of Finance's tender for the marketing of Finnish commemorative coins, annual coin series (coin sets) and 2 euro commemorative coins was won by Oy Nordic Moneta Ab, a subsidiary of the Norway-based international SAMLERHUSET group.
The contract between the Ministry of Finance and Nordic Moneta runs from December 1, 2019 to December 31, 2022, and includes an option for two extensions of two years each. Their agreement also includes the production of Finnish commemorative coins, non-circulating coins for collectors.
Finnish commemorative euro coins and commemorative 2-euro coins minted before 2019 can still be purchased from the Mint of Finland's online store, while stocks last, and from retailers. According to information from the Ministry of Finance, the 2019 €2 commemorative coin is not available for sale directly to collectors until further notice.
