Description:
For 100 years, the Bleuet has been France's flower of Remembrance and Solidarity. It was born out of the desire to help the maimed soldiers of the 1914-1918 War. The little flower quickly became the symbol of the entire French nation, grateful for the sacrifice of its soldiers in defense of their country and its ideals.
Today, Bleuet de France continues its traditional mission of providing moral and financial support to veterans and victims of wars past and present, as well as to victims of terrorism.
Bleuet also helps to pass on values such as respect, peace and tolerance to young people. It's an act of remembrance that honors those who fought, and continue to fight, for our freedom.
In the drawing, the cornflower is in the center. It is surrounded by the words "Le Bleuet de France, fleur de mémoire et de solidarité". The dates "1918-2018" and the word "RF" are also inscribed on the design.
