Design description:
The Compagnie of the Carabiniers of the Prince is créée à Monaco en 1817. This unité assure notamment the garde of the palais princier, the honneurs au souverain and différentes missions of sécurité and of representation.
The coin monégasque of 2017 celebrates the 200 ans of this corps emblématique of the Principauté.
2 Euro Monaco 2017 Carabiniers 200 ans of the création of the compagnie of the carabiniers of the Prince CRÉATION Since the création, il n'a jamais cessé of exister. This corps a été réorganisé à plusieurs reprises and the 26 janvier 1904, S.A.S. the Prince Albert 1er signe a Ordonnance sanctionnant the dissolution of the Compagnie of the Gardes. The Prince Souverain, satisfait of the services rendus by the " Carabiniers " their confia the Garde of the Palais and of Its Family.
L'Ordonnance spécifiait that " le service fait par la Compagnie des Gardes serait exécuté dorénavant par la Compagnie des Carabiniers qui prendrait la dénomination de "COMPAGNIE OF THE CARABINIERS OF THE PRINCE".
