Description The Monnaie of Paris poursuit the collection dédiée aux héros of bandes dessinées and lance, en 2010, the monnaie « Blake & Mortimer ». The série places en scène deux héros, Sir Francis Blake, military of carrière and the professeur Philip Mortimer, spécialiste en physique nucléaire. The succès of this bande dessinée is dû, between autres, à a mélange of réalisme, of fantastique and of science-fiction. The face is a scène tirée of the « Secret de l’Espadon » où the on voit the deux héros arrêter the Colonel Olrik. En arrière-plan, the avions « Espadons » attaquent. En bas the year « 2010 » and the « différents ».

The revers depicts Blake and Mortimer en pied in their pose. En fond, the « M » symbolique of the série in lequel « RF » is inséré and on lequel vient s’inscrire the En pourtour à left, the mention « Les aventures de Blake et Mortimer ».
