Bu Benelux 2024
Description:
80th ANNIVERSARY OF THE BENELUX CUSTOMS AGREEMENT
On September 5, 1944, as the Second World War drew to a close, the exiled governments of Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg came together in London. The result was the creation of a unique and innovative customs union, which shortly afterwards became known as the BENELUX Treaty. Today, this milestone celebrates its 80th anniversary, and is appropriately commemorated by the issue of this new Benelux 2024 set. This set allows you to acquire all 24-euro coins in BU quality from the three Benelux countries, thus including all eight denominations of 2024. A beautiful commemorative medal completes this precious numismatic collection.
