Description:
Obverse
In the foreground, some of the ingredients of "Pan de Toni", from which, according to legend, the modern name panettone, a typically Lombard dessert, derives: egg, lemon, flour, orange peel, candied citron, raisins, butter; the composition shows a typical basket used to cool the cake upside down after baking; on the left, the silhouettes of a goblet and a bottle of sparkling wine. In the background, in stylized graphics, a series of Guelph merlons, characteristic of castles in the Franciacorta region, and a skyline of monuments representative of Lombardy: the Palazzo Ducale in Mantua, the Palazzo della Loggia in Brescia and the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and the Torrazzo in Cremona; the composition is sealed by the Rosa Camuna, symbol of the Lombardy region inspired by the rock engravings of the Val Camonica, recognized as a World Heritage Site by Unesco. Around the top, the inscription "REPUBBLICA ITALIANA". In the exergue, the author's signature "M. BONIFACIO".

Above, in an arch, the inscription "SAPORI D'ITALIA"; on the right, the value "5 EURO"; on the left, "R", identifying the Mint of Rome; in exergue, "2022", year of issue of the coin, bordered on the sides by decorative elements representing the Rosa Camuna.
