The official Belle Epreuve Ireland 2026 set consists of 9 coins: the eight denominations of the Irish series, ranging from 1 centime to 2 euros, as well as the 2026 commemorative 2-euro coin dedicated to Ireland’s 8th Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The circulation coins feature on their national side the traditional Celtic harp, a historic symbol of Ireland, accompanied by the inscription “Éire,” the year 2026, and the twelve European stars.
The commemorative 2-euro coin features a design inspired by the visual identity of the Irish Presidency. Its dynamic composition combines several spiral shapes incorporating 27 discs symbolizing the Member States of the European Union, arranged around a five-pointed star. The design conveys the values of cooperation, unity, and movement within Europe.
The set features the prestigious Proof (BE) finish, characterized by exceptionally precise relief and a sharp contrast between the designs and the surfaces. Each coin is protected in a capsule and presented in an official case, accompanied by its numbered certificate of authenticity.
