On the reverse, the 5-euro coin depicts a composition with a tree in the form of two crossed hands, their fingers branching upwards, symbolizing man's necessary support for forests. The foliage is made up of different leaves representing the variety of trees around the world. On the reverse of the coin, the deep symbiosis between Mount Titano, its civilizations and its forests is depicted by the three towers, repeated as symbolic trunks surmounted by laurel (glory) and oak (strength) leaves.
