Description:
San Marino 2025 annual euro box set - BU series complete with €5 silver Orchids
San Marino's official 2025 annual boxed set includes all eight euro coins, denominations from 1 cent to 2 euros, minted in BU (Brillant Universel) quality, plus a commemorative €5 silver coin dedicated to orchids. Each coin features a unique design on its national side, accompanied by the name "SAN MARINO", the year of issue, the letter "R" for the Rome workshop, the initials of the engraver "AL" (Arno Ludwig) and the twelve stars of the European Union.
The 1, 2 and 5 centime coins depict the official coat of arms of the Republic of San Marino, the City Gate and the Capuchin Friars Church, respectively. The 10, 20 and 50 centimes show the facade of the church and convent of San Francesco, the three emblematic Towers (Guaita, Cesta and Montale), and a detail of the portrait of San Marino by painter Emilio Retrosi. The 1 euro coin features the second Tower, the Cesta, while the 2 euro coin offers a portrait of San Marino bearing the three Towers, inspired by the painting "Madonna in gloria con i santi" by Giovan Battista Urbinelli. Finally, the 5 euro commemorative silver coin pays tribute to orchids with a refined design.
Ideal for collectors and numismatic enthusiasts alike, this official 2025 boxed set is a masterpiece reflecting the rich historical and cultural heritage of the Republic of San Marino.
