2026 San Marino 2-Euro Coincard (Circulation Issue)
This coincard featuring a standard 2025 2-euro coin is dedicated to the coat of arms of San Marino. The Republic’s official coat of arms is surmounted by a closed crown, a symbol of sovereignty. The shield features three mountains; the towers have windows and battlements and are topped with ostrich feathers. The shield is adorned with two branches—one of laurel, the other of oak—crossed beneath the tip of the shield, both bearing fruit. The ribbon bears the motto “LIBERTAS” in capital letters. The common side of the San Marino 2-euro coin features the effigy of the famous Italian Quattrocento painter, Raphael. His portrait is surrounded by the inscription “San Marino” and the twelve stars representing the member countries of the eurozone.
