This edition kicks off a five-year cycle dedicated to Dutch legends and folk tales, running from 2026 to 2030. The program notably features figures such as the Flying Dutchman and the Lady of Stavoren.

The 2026 Netherlands UNC set includes all eight denominations of the euro series: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, and 50 centimes, as well as 1 and 2 euros, for a total face value of €3.88.
UNC (Uncirculated) quality refers to coins minted using the same processes as circulation coins but preserved without ever having been circulated. The eight coins are housed in a square case designed by the Royal Dutch Mint, allowing them to be displayed and stored together.
