Description :
The Academy is the philosophical school founded near Athens by Plato, featuring gardens, porticoes and sculptures. (387 B.C. to 86 B.C.) It boasts an impressive library and several classrooms, with research also part of the intellectual activities. Gymnasiums were also provided for physical activities. Aristotle also taught at this school, which some consider to be the origin of modern universities.
