Description
This set includes the euro and euro cent coins minted in 2025. It features Karlovac, nicknamed the "City of Four Rivers", remarkable for its six-pointed star layout, typical of Renaissance military architecture. The town is renowned for its verdant landscapes, river beaches and rich historical heritage, including Dubovac Castle.
Perched on a hill overlooking the River Kupa, Dubovac Castle is one of the oldest in Croatia. Erected in the XIIIᵉ century, it evolved over time from a medieval fortress into a Renaissance-style castle, also incorporating Gothic elements under the influence of the powerful Frankopan family. Now restored, it houses a museum and offers exceptional views of Karlovac and the surrounding area.
