The Luxembourg coins feature a unique design on the national side, with the country's name "LETZEBUERG", the year of issue and the twelve stars of the European Union.
The eight coins, from 1 centime to 2 euros, feature the effigy of His Royal Highness the Grand Duke Henri, symbolizing Luxembourg's identity and dynastic continuity. The 2 euro commemorative coin pays tribute to the 75th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration, the founding text of European integration.
